College Law Enforcement Administrators
The College Law Enforcement Administrators Consortium has been meeting informally for years. In 2011, members approached the Consortium to formalize their efforts, expand their membership, increase professional development opportunities, increase visibility of their priorities, and to develop a memorandum of understanding detailing how the group will respond to an institutional or regional crisis through mutual support. Since forming the group, membership has expanded to include all 21 colleges and universities of the Consortium, over 50 law enforcement officers, as well as representatives from the FBI, NYS Troopers, Buffalo Police, Amherst Police, Cheektowaga Police, and a number of other police departments.
