Consortium Bi-national initiative
The WNY Consortium of Higher Education seeks to establish stronger post-secondary connections with counterpart institutions in Ontario, Canada in order to facilitate new kinds of cross-border collaborations. The new flows of collaboration will be couched in academic, economic, and political domains and facilitate by the Consortium. There is significant potential in bi-national efforts that, among other things, might leverage research cooperation, stimulate teaching and learning innovation, and support resource development. It is our expectation that our educational counterparts in Canada will embrace this effort and welcome increased linkages to the Western New York region.
