During this session, attendees will learn how to prepare for conducting sexual assault investigations, including how to deal with reluctant interviewees, where and how to conduct interviews, how to document interviews and overall best strategies and techniques for performing investigations. Best practices for interviewing the "Accuser" and the "Accused" will also be covered. Interim measures that can be put in place during the investigation to provide safety to the accuser will be addressed as well as how to conclude an interview.
